Our company demonstrated its pioneering spirit with the application of the Bluetooth® technology in vehicles. Developed in 2000, the "Vianect" solution was the first Bluetooth® hands-free car kit worldwide. PEIKER acustic received the prestigious "Telematic Update Award" from the American automobile industry for an additional Bluetooth® hands-free system, "U-Connect™," which it designed and produced in cooperation with DaimlerChrysler.

"U-Connect™" is the pinnacle of user friendliness and technical refinement. This system established the direction for our subsequent Bluetooth® hands-free car kits such as the "Bluetooth® Voice XL," which we launched in cooperation with our affiliate, ALAC GmbH. The principle behind these PEIKER solutions is simple, but ingenious, and is suited for most cell phones that support hands-free profiles:

• The cell phone may be located at any point inside the vehicle: for example, in a jacket pocket or briefcase.
• When the ignition is turned on, a wireless connection is automatically established between the cell phone and the hands-free car kit.
• If the call is received by the remote control, the radio is automatically muted.
• All commands and phone numbers are understood and executed by the system without any prior voice programming and independent of the user.
• User-dependent maintenance of the integrated telephone book means four phone numbers can be stored individually per person.
• Integrated echo suppression and noise reduction provide optimal voice quality.

Private calls at the highest technical level

Bluetooth® technology provides the user with the ultimate advantage of absolute ease of use. The handset can be passed to others in the vehicle without the bothersome thicket of wires. PEIKER acustic is setting true standards with the technical features of its Bluetooth® hand devices. Worldwide, we have developed the first hand device with rSAP and a color display that is capable of displaying 65,000 different colors. In addition, these handsets are all T9-capable and can even display Chinese characters.
