The acoustics in the vehicle are impaired particularly strongly by the varying environment. Apart from the so-called target sound ratio (speech), the microphones installed in the vehicle also record noises from the chassis, engine, ventilation or wind. These are interference sources which restrict optimum audibility from the inside or outside of the vehicle. The processing of the detected signal by means of professional digital signal processing reduces the interference ratio of the recording and improves the intelligibility of the speech ratio significantly at the same time.
