A hands-free car kit is measured primarily by its acoustic quality. Thus it isn’t enough to integrate an outstanding system into a vehicle; the optimum positioning of the microphone is crucial. Improperly selected placement can have a huge negative impact on even the best system quality.

One special service offered by PEIKER acustic is measuring and evaluating cars according to acoustic criteria. In compliance with our customers’ needs, our service covers the following points:

• Acoustic advising and service for vehicle interiors whose specifications are not yet set
• Acoustic measurements and evaluations in the case of predefined installation space in the vehicle
• Reviewing vehicle acoustics in accordance with the existing VDA guidelines for hands-free systems
• Analysis and evaluation of voice transmission quality in series-produced vehicles
